Crane Operator/Rigger

Full time position operating hydraulic truck cranes up to 70 ton capacity as well as working on rigging crew involved in installation of heavy industrial equipment and erection of structural steel. 

  

Requirements:  Must have a current CT CDL-Class A and Connecticut and/or Massachusetts Hoisting Licenses and 5 years experience in rigging equipment.

 

Duties include: Operate hydraulic truck cranes, rig equipment in and out of buildings, load equipment onto trucks and transport to fabrication shop.   Erect structural and miscellaneous steel. 

 

Pay will be based on experience and ability to perform. 

 

Steel Fabricator/Welder

This is a full time shop position performing layout and fabrication of miscellaneous steel and structural steel in our facility in Putnam. 

Requirements: 5 years minimum experience performing steel fabrication.  Must be able to pass a standard AWS welding certification test in the horizontal position using MIG welding.

Duties: Layout, cut, fit and weld as required to fabricate miscellaneous and structural steel. Ability to read prints.  Ability to work with other fabricators.  Experience in layout of stairs and railings desired.  Ability to fabricate ornamental iron a plus.

Pay will be based on experience and ability to perform. 

 

Structural/Miscellaneous Steel Detailer - Project Manager Assistant.

This is a full time position preparing fabrication drawings for our steel and miscellaneous iron fabrication shop. In the past we have subcontracted this work.

Requirements: 5 years minimum experience in auto-cad 14 or better.

Duties: Receipt and review of contract drawings and project scopes, creation of steel erection plans and shop fabrication details, submittal of drawings for engineer approval prior to release to fabrication, creation of as-built drawings. In addition this position will assist project managers as required to expedite the completion of the projects including preparation of material lists, expediting of material orders, coordination of subcontracted detailers and other project related tasks.

Pay will be based on experience and ability to perform.
